Buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions you'll ever make. Most buyers focus on what they can see - the roof, the floors, the kitchen. But what's underground can tell a very different story, and that story can be expensive if you miss it.

A septic inspection gives you a real look at what's going on beneath the surface before you sign anything. We run a camera through the line so we can see exactly what's there - buildup, cracks, root intrusion, deteriorating pipe walls. The kind of stuff that won't show up on a standard home inspection but can cost thousands to fix down the road.

Here's the thing - sellers aren't always aware of issues either. It's not always about deception. These systems get ignored for years, sometimes decades. By the time someone goes to sell, the line might be partially blocked, the pipe walls heavily scaled, or the connection to the tank compromised. A sewer camera inspection takes the guesswork out of it completely.

If we do find something, that's actually a good position to be in - as long as you catch it before closing. It gives you options. You can negotiate a repair, ask for a price adjustment, or simply walk away. The worst case is finding out after you've already moved in, when those repair costs are fully your responsibility.

We do this work specifically because we know what to look for. Our sewer camera inspections are thorough, and we document everything we see so you have a clear picture of what you're buying into. Don't skip this step. It's a small investment compared to what you might be inheriting without it.
